How to get saved!

Lee Poskey, our fellow WordPress blogger, recorded a Gospel – good news! – video at YouTube. With love and respect he tells it like it is.

Here is where you can find this at WordPress: My video “How to get saved” – on YouTube.

John 3:16-17

16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. 17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.

My blogging friend, Maria, of “The Pilgrim’s Progress Revisited..” blog posted this yesterday. I think it is a very good presentation of the Gospel message. I think Lee Poskey is from the Southern U.S. I have lived here for 20+ years and am thankful that God brought me here. Anyway, this message is solid as it is based solely on God’s Word.

      • You’re welcome, my sweet sister in Christ! I really needed another good Gospel message to go with the one I had so I included this in my THE GOSPEL at the top of my blog. I see that Lee has subscribed to my blog. I will definitely get to his blog and check it out. Thank you for your kind words. Indeed, may God bless our efforts. Lately, I’ve been hanging around a few Creation/Evolution debate pages on Facebook. I am learning quite a bit and putting my two cents in where I feel the Bible is not given the authority it deserves. I’m also taking care of my ailing mom so I’ve been busy. Tonight my son and I burned two big piles of yard waste that I couldn’t get to last year because the winter was so wet. This year in has been very dry until we had a good soaking about a week ago. The next couple of days are supposed to be cold for Arkansas so tonight was a perfect night to have a couple of bonfires.
I am still reading your blog periodically and will approach wordpress this week, hopefully, about not being able to comment on the blogs of others. You’ve probably noticed that I can like or reblog other’s things. I just can’t comment. Gotta try and get that fixed.
God is using Christians like never before, I think, because our numbers seem to continue to decrease. It is a Joy to be serving with people like you and Lee. I guessed right about his being southern by the way. His email shows that he lives in Texas. Even thought I didn’t grow up here, I appreciate the “down home” way many here express themselves.
God’s blessings, Maria. Thank you for the great material.
(I probably went on a bit more than usual but it is frustrating to read a good post by someone and not write something…definitely gotta try and get that fixed)

        • I see that I could reply to the reblog, post, so I thought I try to comment here as well. Maybe my problem is fixed. I’ll know as soon as I hit the enter button. I see that Lee Poskey made a statement here. Very nice!

        • Chris, I enjoy hearing about your life and concerns and am grateful for the opportunity to work with you and my other brothers and sisters. Happy blessed new year to you, your son, and mother!! I understand it will be difficult because of her health but am so glad for all that the Lord will do for you!

          • Thank you for your kind words, Maria. It is wonderful to be able to send others to blogs that I trust. You know so much more about Catholicism than I that I feel it is very important to have your blog in my blogroll. So many Catholics are searching for gospel truths these days. Either that or they are giving up.
I also know that God is with us even in our pain. It is so obvious in the situation with my mom that God will never leave us nor forsake us.
You sound as if you completely understand what I have just stated.
Happy New Year to you and yours!
