A word in season on the 4th of July – Paul to Timothy

.

1 Timothy 2

I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; for kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.

.

We have a good and beautiful land in America. May we be grateful and prayerful. May the Father pity us and cause many to come to Jesus Christ in repentance and faith!

  1. America! Bless God! amen! \o/
May the Servant-leaders of our nation, from the least one to the greatest one, be given Your knowledge and wisdom, Lord, to govern our nation as would be pleasing to You, first, and the people, second. Give them a heart’s desire to know You, the only true God, and Your Son, whom You have sent. Call them into Your Kingdom, choose them as Your children, draw them to Your Son, Jesus, as their Lord and Savior. Turn these “kings” hearts to do Your good pleasure and may it bring peace for Your children in the land, Your Kingdom’s increase, and a turning to do righteously in Your sight, for Your glory, amen!~

Have a blessed and thankful Independence Day, everyone!
